Three from this series were enlarged and installed as banners in downtown Kent, along the Haymaker & Franklin Bike Path.
2021 - 2022
An experiment in using every old thing in my studio - paper, wood, panels, stretched canvas, paints, inks, screens - to create one-of-a-kind, highly layered, very loose and kind of wild prints. Some are purely screen printed and others are mixed media with screen, acrylic, and tempera paint. They vary in size from 10’’ x 10’’ to 30’’ x 40’’ - a fun exercise in resourceful repurposing and breaking free of screen printing’s usual tightness.
